We met up with Matt and Gareth at the Boston Public Gardens near Beacon Street for their engagement session. After a day of dark skies and intense rain, I was worried about the fate of this photoshoot! The rain was still coming as we battled Boston traffic and parked the car. Somehow, just as we put on our gear and made our way to the gardens, the skies cleared and the weather was wonderful. We lucked out with dramatic light and ever changing colors!

Matt and Gareth are an incredibly kind, intelligent, and sweet couple. Their love for, and comfort with, each other was so present, that they eased into the photoshoot quickly. After exploring the gardens, we spent a little time in the Beacon Hill area. Just in time for sunset, we crossed the bridge to the Esplanade, and explored the bank of the Charles River as the light turned red.
