I was honored when Kelli and Joe asked me to take their portraits again, as we had an awesome time last year. This year, we explored a few locations on Hemlock lake, surrounded by beautiful fall foliage, all rewarded with unlimited puddle splashing at the end!
Ardi and Caroline were married on a perfect fall day on September 26th. We started out in a big beautiful room at the Medford Hyatt, where the bridal party met to get ready and toast to a wonderful day. Next, we braved the Boston traffic for formals on the Esplanade, which was perfectly decorated with sailboats, blue skies, and the leaves just starting to turn gold. The ceremony was held at Our Lady of Grace in Everett, which looked like a castle, and was the perfect location for a bag pipe serenade. Inside, Ardi and Caroline said their vows surrounded by loved ones and stunning stained glass windows. After saying "I do" we made our way to the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology, a new venue facility with vintage appeal. Guest enjoyed delicious hors d'oeuvre's and cocktails in an epic high ceiling, marble foyer. If you couldn't guess, their entrance to the reception space as a married couple was also grand, welcomed by two trumpeters in the balcony. Later in the evening, toasts, first dances, and dinner made way into a unforgettable dance party. Congratulations Ardi and Caroline! We had such a nice time with you on your big day!
Christine and Tyrone were married on a perfect September day last Sunday in Maine. The love between these two radiates, and is reflected by their friends and family who rallied around both of them in abundant love, all day. Christine and Tyrone were married on the edge of the pond at Foster's Clambake in York, Maine. The ceremony was sunny and touching. After the ceremony, we were invited to take photos in a neighbor's garden while guests enjoyed the cocktail hour. In our last 30 minutes before the reception, we bent time and took a 10 minute drive to snap a few photos by a nearby lighthouse! At the reception, as soon as the wedding party was introduced, the dancing began. To the music of an excellent DJ and a few cameos by their son, everyone danced and laughed the beautiful night away! Although I have known his mommy, Tamy-Fee, for a few years now (many photo sessions on my blog... for example: the maternity session, portrait session) but this was my first meeting of her son Elijah. Elijah was 5 days old, and amazingly calm throughout the whole session....just like his mom is in her sessions! His mother has always been called a Queen, in the Nobelist sense, and we all know that he is a little King in the making. I cannot wait to continue taking portraits of Elijah over time and more importantly, getting to know the incredible boy, then man, he is soon to become...he is such a cutie! Enjoy! Warning: he is extremely adorable.
You might remember Kim and Brian from our awesome engagement session at the Boston Public Library (if not: you can see them here). Kim and Brian are both from big, loving families, who gathered to celebrate their big day at the Willow Springs Vineyard, a stunning, charming event facility in Haverhill, MA. After their sunny and warm ceremony just beyond the rows of vineyards, they enjoyed a perfect-weather cocktail hour on the wrap around porch. Dinner was stunning, lit by fairy lights hanging above in the converted barn. Right after dinner, guests hit the dance floor for some unforgettable numbers. Congratulations Kim and Brian!!
Amanda and Drew got married on a perfect August day at the beautiful Willowdale Estate in Topsfield MA. With a 6:30pm ceremony, the light was golden, and the string lights sparkled. Following the beautiful ceremony, we did formal photos by the river. After being introduced, and the first dance to "Can't Help Falling in Love," touching speeches were made, and an incredible dinner was served. Amanda and Drew kicked off the dancing, sweetly dedicating many songs to people they loved, and each other. It is clear that these two love each other very much, and are so loved by those around them. Congratulations Amanda and Drew! I hope you enjoy these highlights!
