Carlotta and Ken's Wedding at the Wadsworth Homestead in Geneseo New York

Ken and Carlie were married on June 23rd at the Wadsworth Homestead in Geneseo New York. The weather was intensely beautiful throughout the day, cloudy while they were getting ready, with a burst of bright and beautiful sun just in time for the ceremony under the mighty Oak Tree on the West lawn. The ceremony was just like Carlie and Ken, full of beauty, laughter, and the clearest sense of love you have ever felt. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on the West Porch while Carlie and Ken had their family portraits captured among the trees. Later, a fun filled reception full of light and dancing rolled on through the night- right alongside a wild rainstorm outside- it felt like being on a boat in the ocean during a storm in a fantastic way! I know Carlie and Ken are lucky, because the rain let up for perfect portrait pockets surrounding sunset. We got incredible skies and a fog (discovered by Ken) like we've never seen at the Homestead. We took photos right into the night outdoors, they're a must see. Congratulations Ken and Carlie, we feel so lucky to have been a part of your big day!

Chirag and Daisy's Maternity Session in the Arnold Arboretum in Boston MA

After taking Chirag and Daisy's engagement photos at dusk in the Boston commons in 2016, I was so delighted to hear from them again to capture this special moment in their lives. We met close to sunset in the Arnold Arboretum, finding a beautiful tropical looking expanse for the first part of our session. Later we explored the arboretum a bit, finding some beautiful light green bushes and gorgeous lighting. Congratulations Chirag and Daisy! I cannot wait to meet your little one!

Road trip through beautiful Croatia!

After exploring Slovenia, and a little bitta Italy (Udine and Cividale del Friuli), we made our way to Croatia. It was wild how much hotter, brighter, and dryer it was. We could barely keep our eyes open without dark sunglasses! Here is our itinerary along with some of my favorite photos!

Day 1: Drive from Udine, Italy to Momjan Croatia where we stayed at the Bike Hostel at the very top of the city. Alex bravely jumped into a freezing, Fern Gully-esque waterfall. We had dinner at Konoba Rino.

Day 2: Truffle hunting in a secret location near Momjan; Sunset at Momjan Castle; Dinner at Starry Podrum

Day 3: Drive to Rovinj for a quick look; Lunch at Opatija (really beautiful coastal town); Sunset at our air bnb in Senj, Croatia

Day 4: Plitvicka Park waterfall - amazing, don't miss it; went to Bosnia in search of Martin Brod but of course a road was closed; Air bnb in Čatrnja; Dinner at Restauran Plum

Day 5: Carol goes on a walk around air bnb and learns about SNAKES; Coffee at Plum, Beautiful drive back to the coast, to Zadar Croatia; Pag Island adventure; Explore Old Town Zadar; Dinner at Kantuna

Day 6: Drive to Split; Krka National Park; Air bnb at Split, Croatia; Explore Old Town Split

Day 7: Wall of Ston; Drive to Zatan Mali; an evening walk in Dubrovnik

Slovenia Nature Adventure and Road Trip!

Slovenia is by far, without a doubt, one of the most incredible places I have ever been. I would highly recommend a spring visit, as it was before the tourist season, which made the 1.2 lane swerving, cliff flirting roads, a little less scary. Also, everything was in full bloom, and the birds were singing! Once you get there, the prices are amazing, and the food is the best I've ever had. We ate gourmet every day for around $15 per person! Here's a look at our itinerary and some of my favorite photos:

Day 1: Wake up in Zagreb, Croatia; Drive to Ljubljana Slovenia for lunch- try to catch it when they have an amazing street gourmet food festival!; Arrive in Bled; Dinner at the Amazing Garden Village - a great place for Glamping!

Day 2: 5:30am Sunrise hike to Mala Osojnica; Drive to Bohinj lake for some amazing reflections; a hike up to Slap Savica; A wild drive to our adorable air bnb in Podmelec Slovenia in a converted farm house

Day 3: Brunch at Kamp Lazar; Hike Slap Kosjak (most special hike on the trip); Drove to Triglarski National Park in search of Cerkev Sv. Suha na Javorci but Carol's toe was injured and it was raining, so we opted out of the walk up the hill and explored some nearby mounds and ruins; Dinner in Most na Soči; Sunset in Podmelec

Matt and Gareth's Engagement Session in the Boston Public Gardens and the Esplanade!

We met up with Matt and Gareth at the Boston Public Gardens near Beacon Street for their engagement session. After a day of dark skies and intense rain, I was worried about the fate of this photoshoot! The rain was still coming as we battled Boston traffic and parked the car. Somehow, just as we put on our gear and made our way to the gardens, the skies cleared and the weather was wonderful. We lucked out with dramatic light and ever changing colors!

Matt and Gareth are an incredibly kind, intelligent, and sweet couple. Their love for, and comfort with, each other was so present, that they eased into the photoshoot quickly. After exploring the gardens, we spent a little time in the Beacon Hill area. Just in time for sunset, we crossed the bridge to the Esplanade, and explored the bank of the Charles River as the light turned red. It was truly a privilege to capture Matt and Gareth's love for each other. Congratulations on your engagement, Gareth and Matt! Enjoy this sneak peak of your photos!
